13/0 CHARLOTTE CUT WHITE LUSTER
This glass bead is a pretty opaque white with a fantastic luster finish and a faceted sparkle! Charlotte cut beads, or “Charlottes,” are traditionally a size 13/0 round bead with a single facet cut on each one. Similarly, “True Cuts” are any other size round bead with a single facet cut on each one. The terms Charlotte and True Cut are often used interchangeably for all sizes of beads with one cut.
Please note that dye lots will vary in color so be sure to order enough beads for your project at one time.
A size 13/0 Charlotte cut hank is 12 temporary strings of 1.7 mm seed beads approximately 12 inches long that are then gathered by their ends and tied into a necklace-like loop. These are sometimes called “short hanks” because they are shorter than the usual hank of 20 inch strings. A hank of 13/0 Charlottes contains approximately 3,000 beads.
These are high quality glass beads made in the Czech Republic.
