Description

Historical story in passport form. I have tried to describe each page of this document as shown in the above photos. An extremely interesting document regarding immigration and travels of the late 1920's of displaced peoples. Please read my description of each page. You have value in all of the different stamps attached at each step of this journey to the USA.
This is an Egyptian passport from 1928 in French, Arabic and English.  It belonged to an Armenian survivor who ended up in Egypt after saving some of her young family members.  This passport is that of a life long teacher who due to her language skills ended up being a professor in the USA.
The resident of Cairo got this passport in 1928 with visa to Syria, Palestine and then USA via Italy.
Bright purple Egyptian stamps and red overprinted revenue stamps adorn the pages and look in perfect condition.  The stamps are clear and easy to read in several languages.  The visa to Palestine has a green consular service stamp of 1Shilling and King George V.
Travel customs stamps show Alexandria on 7/10/28 , departure on the SS Amazone,  Beirut on 7/12/28 , Nakour on 8/24/28 and arrival back via the Suez anal on 8/29/28.  The British Consular service stamps are again King George V, red. 6d and green 7s 6d.  This is one of the most interesting pages with stamps in red from the government of Palestine  and purple stamp leaving Palestine.
In 1930 an Egyptian renewal again with purple and red revenue stamps.  This time with a visa also to Canada.  After this empty pages and clean pages until we get to the USA visa with a .00 fee stamp. This states departure to any port.  Next page is arrival in New York where she remained for the rest of her life.
On a separate document (receipt) is a American Foreign Service Stamp of .00  for preparation of "Alien's Declaration administration", signed by the American Consul.
Please note that I smudged the photo and signatures for privacy.  The document you will receive is completely legible.
