1935 Declaration of Intention Document - British National from Canada to the USA - U.S. Department of Labor Immigration and Naturalization Service Form 2202--L-A - one copy of the triplicate form (a single document with two numbers: officially 34587 at lower left and typed 7846 at upper right).  Condition is Used - with fold marks and age-tanning of the paper, a tiny sliver of the bottom left corner torn away, otherwise in good condition with clear type and crisp paper - not brittle or fragile.
Francis Ellwood Williams, born in 1903 in Castleton, Ontario, Canada, of British nationality living in Grafton, Ontario - proclaims his marriage to Vera Blanche Williams in 1926 in Rochester, NY and is now declaring his intent to join her, having emigrated from Toronto, Ontario via the ship "SS Toronto" and lawfully entered the United States at Rochester, NY.  He intends to take up citizenship in Niagara Falls, NY with Vera Blanche and their daughter Gloria Joy (born 1930).  Document dated May 17, 1935 and signed by Jesse Read, Clerk of the Supreme Court.  Niagara County seal is stamped over the photo.  Francis' signature is impeccably neat and Francis is boyishly handsome!
