    Hard to find as set
Hallicrafters SX-62A with Matching Hallicrafters R-46B Speaker in working condition.
Folks this vintage tube type communications receiver is stunning with the huge slide rule dial. General coverage from
    .55mc through 108mc plus has AM/FM/CW
reception modes. When was the last time you saw a tube receiver with that coverage plus AM/FM. Back
in 1954 the radio cost 0 and speaker was
, that is a lot of money in 1954 for in 1954 a new Ford was 00, gas was .21/gal, a stamp was .03, and average income was 00 per year making this
a luxury item only for the rich
    .
Audio output is loud and clear as you would expect from a push-pull set of 6V6 output tubes
. I picked up stations on FM and also on AM short wave bands as well as Standard Broadcast.
I would go through and clean all controls and switches with De-Oxit plus use a variac to power up as I recommend with all vintage tube-type electronics.
    I will demo when you pick-up. Thanks//Larry
