2006 Mercedes-Benz SLK280 Roadster Salvage Rebuildable Repairable, Automatic, Only 29k Miles! ENGINE RUNS GREAT! RUNS/DRIVES ! ALL AIRBAGS GOOD! As seen in the 50+ posted pictures this nice looking 2006 Mercedes SLK280 V6 Automatic with only 29k miles has sustained light front end damage. This vehicle was directly purchased from insurance company for resale in the condition you see it on the pictures below. We buy directly from insurance companies no middle man involved. Such vehicles can legally be returned back to the roads after proper repairs & your state salvage inspection. We have the salvage certificate of title (no liens) at hand and ready to transfer to the new owner. Damaged areas are clearly shown in the pictures. Looks like it was a very light front end impact and mainly the front bumper and right headlights is damaged. No damage to front cooling components (radiator, condenser, fans, etc) but the hose on top of the radiator needs to be changed as its leaking coolant (see pic). Looks like the car had prior bad paint job without any clear coat hence front fenders, rear bumper, and part of the driver doors looks dull (see pics) and needs repaint to make the car perfect. There are some light dings on the doors. Engine runs great and car lot runs/drives. No dash warning lights. All airbags good. Convertible top opens/closes with the push of a button. Overall condition of the vehicle is shown with 50+ posted pictures. The car starts, engine runs great, goes into gear, and lot runs/drives. We directly purchase from insurance auctions and no middle man involved. Insurance companies usually salvage vehicles due to collision, theft, flood..etc. but this doesn't mean that they are beyond repair. In most cases its not the actual damage to the car that causes a vehicle to be salvaged but the circumstances under which they are declared salvage. For example, theft recovered vehicles are always salvaged since they are usually recovered after the owner is paid off by the insurance company. Or the owner might not want the vehicle after going through an accident even if the damages are light and easily repairable such as our cars. Whatever the case is these cars can easily be returned to the streets and that is why they're sold through auctions as repairable vehicles.
We have the salvage certificate (no-liens) in our possession and it will be re-assigned to the new owner to follow up with their state salvage process. Every state has its own salvage process and its usually filling out some forms and taking the car to an inspection after repairs (if any repairs are needed).
