    Description

    This is a beautiful antique hand engraved Burmese lacquerware rice serving bowl.  It measures 20 centimeters wide on the outside, and 12 cm inside diameter of hole.  With top on, 13 cm to top of knob.  With top off, 10 cm from lip of bowl to bottom.  This bowl dates from the early 1900's, and is in excellent well-kept condition.
    I have partnered with an American friend living in Thailand to make this and other collectible antique pieces available.  He has spent most of his adult life living and working in Nepal and Thailand, and has amassed an incredible collection of these and other hand made antique wares over the last 40 years.  None of his relatives have any interest in the items, so he has asked me to help find them new homes with those who will appreciate their beauty, artistic value, and intricate workmanship.  Any white or pale areas on the picture are light reflections.
