    Description

    Nice example of a classic HEATHKIT SB-301 RECEIVER.  My observations are:
    Operationally - with a speaker attached unit was tested to power on.  Was able to get static and noises thru the speaker but without antenna I was not able to pull in any stations or talk.  No further operational testing than that.
    Cosmetically -  All correct knobs are present and appear to work as designed.  No eye detracting blemishes.  Shows I believe less than normal wear for age.
    No power chord
    .
    No top case lid locking screws
    No signs of past maintenance or modifications to my untrained eye see pics 8-11.  Looks like it would rolling of the factory line back in the day.
    Because I was not fully able to test unit sold as is condition.
    Weighs 17lbs so shipping is salty.
