Here is a lot of paper receipts, letterhead, invoices, etc. from
Goldfield Nevada
. Companied represented are Goldfield Development Co, Goldfield Deep Mines Co, Goldfield Jackpot Mining Co, Goldfield Consolidated Mines Co, Booth Mining Co, and a dew more. Goldfield was a boomtown in the first decade of the 20th century due to the discovery of gold — between 1903 and 1940, Goldfield's mines produced more than million. Much of the town was destroyed by a fire in 1923, although several buildings survived and remain today, notably the Goldfield Hotel, the Consolidated Mines Building (the communications center of the town until 1963), and the schoolhouse. These are all 1910-1932. Some receipts are glued to the backs of letterhead. (Counted as 2 items) All are used and most are in good condition. I prefer to sell this lot of paper as one lot of 20 items.
