Vintage Keuffel Esser Surveying Transit in Wooden Box No. 16652

Description

Lovely vintage antique of the Keuffel Esser Surveying Transit.  Comes in original Wooden Box with the No. 16652 on the nameplate.
Wooden box shows scuff and scratches from it's age but no large chips out of the wood.  Just surface marks.
Leather keepers for the misc small tools are all in great condition and hold the items tight.  Please note that there is no item in the holder to the right of the brush.  There is also an empty leather holder inside the box on the right hand side.  Whatever those items were, are no longer in the box.
