W&LE GURLEY SURVEYING TRANSIT #241068 VERY NICE & FUNCTIONING 1916 PATENT DATE. Excellent, W&LE Gurley out of Troy, New York surveying transit with serial number 241068 on the face. A real beauty, the piece is in very nice condition, complete, functions, and there are crosshairs when viewed through the sight. No box, what is included in the photographs is what is included in the auction. About 11" tall at the highest portion, the scope is about 9" long with the cap off, and the face is about 6 3/4" wide at the widest portion. Features a patent date of 1916. Excellent, vintage surveying example.
